The Bangkok Workshop on Achieving a Mine-Free South-East Asia | 1-3 April 2009

The Royal Thai Government with the support of the European Union hosted the Bangkok Workshop on Achieving a Mine-Free South East Asia from 1 - 3 April 2009 and the Victim Assistance Experts Parallel Workshop in Chiang Mai and Bangkok from 31 March – 3 April 2009. The Bangkok Workshop was the second of up to five regional workshops that are organised in advance of the Second Review Conference of the Convention on the Prohibition of the Use, Stockpiling, Production and Transfer of Anti-Personnel Mines and on Their Destruction.
